Vorwork - Buff Columbian. Originating from Germany.
160-190 eggs/year Cream/tinted eggs
Vorwerks are alert and active and generally docile, suitable for novices. They can fly reasonably well. Quick to mature and economical with food if allowed to forage, spare males can be used as a more ‘traditional’ table bird.
Please bring a suitable box or purchase an appropriate sized box from us to transport your birds home.
Bought these a few days ago and I am really pleased with them. Also bought a Braekel and a lohman brown, all are getting on very well together. Keeping chickens is a new venture for us, but we are loving it so far - the children are overjoyed.
